It's last call for the Scottish 'walk and talk' weekend that has been scheduled for 12-14 September. BSA Scotland has booked cosy Gulabin Lodge at Spittal of Glenshee, Perthshire, for up to 30 people. The Scottish 'walk and talk' weekend has now been scheduled for 12-14 September. BSA Scotland has booked cosy Gulabin Lodge at Spittal of Glenshee, Perthshire, for up to 30 people.

These events are becoming legendary and we encourage BSA members, friends and speech and language therapists from south of the border to join us, particularly in view of the late summer sunshine that has been a pattern in recent years.

The weekend will include a Munro climb on the Saturday (sponsorship, optional), exact climb to be confirmed. NB: Suitable clothing and footwear essential. Alternative, gentler walking will be available for those seeking a more leisurely experience. Accommodation will mainly be in comfortable single sex dormitories though some twin/double rooms are also available on a first come, first served basis. Communal catering, comprising delicious meat and vegetarian fare, provided throughout the weekend. Participants will be required to join in meal preparation on a rota basis.

Cost £45/£35 if sponsorship raised, to include bed and Fri/Sat dinner, Sat/Sun breakfast and packed lunch for Saturday.

Come join us... you get what it says on the tin - a social weekend of walking and endless conversation against beautiful scenery as a backdrop...
