Hi everyone,

The next meeting of Safety in Stumblers will take place on Monday 2 November 2009,  between 7.00-9.00pm , in the Library of Waxy O'Connors Bar, 44 West George Street, Glasgow, just next to Queen Street station. Please see the following website for directions:

http://www.waxyoconnors.co.uk/glasgow/index.asp

This month there will be another chat about the tonguetwister experiments that are being carried out by Edinburgh University to explore how much people who stammer pay attention to the sound of their own voices whilst speaking. The University is looking for native English speaking people who stammer to take part in the experiments and travel costs and a fee will be paid to those who participate.

We also have to say farewell and good luck to longtime member and friend Callum Wells who is moving back to Ireland. This will be the last time that Callum will be able to attend Safety in Stumblers and I hope that as many people as possible will attend to say goodbye and wish him luck in the future.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Regards

John
